Yesterday, the first direct freight train for Zafra departed from Huelva. This morning, the towns of the high sierra and of Extremadura that communicate with Huelva via the new route will have seen in their markets the unmistakable evidence of this rapid communication. In the first train of yesterday morning, we had the opportunity to see several wagons with large shipments of fish, consigned to various towns along the line. At the Gibraleón station, a great quantity was also dispatched for the same destination. Much fish is to be shipped from the aforementioned station, as the catch from Lepe, Cartaya, and Ayamonte is to be brought there. The first parcels dispatched from this station were for Medina de las Torres and Fregonal.
