Alájar

Population: 2,648
Judicial District: Aracena
This village is located at the centre of four elevated and rocky mountain ranges. The following hamlets are annexed to it: El CabezueloCalabacinoCollado, and Los Madroñeros.
The administrative centre of the municipality consists of approximately 100 buildings forming regular streets, with two plazas separated by a stream. It has a parish church of magnificent construction dedicated to Saint Mark the Evangelist.
Its territory produces oil, honey, wheat, rye, barley, fruit, and vegetables. Trade is generally of little importance. It has a third-class road and is located 83.583 kilometres from Huelva​.

Aljaraque

Population: 1,340
Judicial District: Huelva
A village situated on a small plateau, very close to the estuary (ría) of Huelva, which separates the two settlements. The administrative centre comprises 125 buildings with clean and well-maintained streets.
It has distilleries, oil mills, pottery workshops, and other industries. The hamlet of Corrales, which has a station on the railway line from the Tharsis mines to the River Odiel, falls within its jurisdiction. This hamlet and its quarters are inhabited by employees and workers of the aforementioned mines.
It is 22.288 km from Huelva by land and 7 nautical miles via the estuary​

Almendro (El)

Population: 1,122
Judicial District: Ayamonte
This village is situated at the foot of one of the outliers of the Sierra de Andévalo. The administrative centre has 267 buildings arranged in irregular streets. It is so close to Villanueva de los Castillejos that they could be considered one single settlement, separated only by a small stream and its bridge or culvert.
Its land produces oil, rye, barley, fruit, and vegetables. It is located 39.034 km from Huelva​

Almonaster la Real

Population: 4,848
Judicial District: Aracena

A town to which are annexed the hamlets of Acebuche, Aguafría, Arroyo, Calabazares, Canaleja, Cincho, Corte Gil Márquez, Dilusa, Escalada, Juliana, Molarios, El Patrás, Rincomalillo, Supos, and Las Veredas.

The administrative centre of the municipality is located on the southern slope of the Cerro de San Cristóbal and consists of 376 buildings.

Within its territory lie the mines of San Miguel, Cueva de la Mora, and Confesonario. The last of these, situated near the Valdelamusa station, is subject to a jurisdictional dispute, as the town of Cortegana also claims it.

There is some commercial activity. The locality has a station on the Zafra railway line, between this town and Cortegana.
