This society will hold a General Meeting next Tuesday at its premises, the Hotel Colón, to discuss matters of importance and to fix the dates upon which the athletic games and the matches of “Lawn Tennis,” “Cricket,” and “Foot-ball” are to take place between the members and the Clubs of Gibraltar, Seville, Malaga, and other points. This afternoon the “Lawn Tennis” season begins in the gardens of the Hotel Colón, for which purpose the fair sex have been most attentive in their preparations. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the ladies will be regaled with a “five o’clock tea.”
