As a consequence of the discussion held in the Royal Academy of Medicine of Madrid regarding the unhealthiness of the fumes, a numerous commission of individuals from that scientific body will arrive in Huelva from one day to the next. They will proceed to Rio-Tinto and visit the entire mining zone, conducting thorough experiments and studies on the ground, in order to issue a verdict with full knowledge of the facts.

The arrival in this capital is also expected, during the early days of next week, of General Martínez Campos, the Duke of Tetuán, Mr. Fabié, and several other important political personages, who will likewise visit Rio-Tinto and other mining establishments. They are drawn both by the importance and fame of the same, and by the desire to judge for themselves, rather than by hearsay, concerning the tumultuous question of the fumes.
